Expertise in various fields such as Process Automation, Intelligent Transport Management System, Fuel Management with GPS tracking, Preinsulated Air Ducts, Material handling Systems, health care analytical instruments and in-process solution, Solution provider in Energy (Electricity) saving, etc. The highlight is, CalCon sold more than a million pressure gauges in GCC and INDIA, started business in 1997, one outlet in Dubai, selling process instruments, then Calibration Company and later engineering workshop, open seven outlets, various verticals to support existing business.

Vikas Ghorpade

He has passed out Production Engineering in the year 1985, then added with Operation Research management in 1988, from Mumbai, India.

He has been a serial entrepreneur since the year 1982, starting with a factory to manufacture Pneumatic & Hydraulic drive systems in Mumbai, India.

Later, I have been associated with the process industry from the project execution side for design engineering and procurement. This is mainly to support EPC contracting costs in Oil & Gas sector. This work was spread in the GCC region for onshore plants and terminals.

Automation has been an integral part of such projects, which enabled to lay hands-on integration of PLC / SCADA based systems, in-plant and OSBL utilities, apart from standard Measuring Instrumentation essential for any process plant.

Since the year 2002, he has been exposed to international exhibitions in the energy sector as an Exhibitor. Which culminated in exhibitor participation in events like GASTECH, ACHEMA, AIDIPEC, in regions like – Qatar, UAE, Germany. Also Engineering Products exhibitions in West Africa.

Since the year 2004 – 2011, have been representing BASF, Germany as their Technical Partner for promoting * High-Pressure Technology * Combustion Technology-based plant and machinery in the Middle East region.

Extensively focused on Mass spectrometry solutions to enable acceptance of this technique by a large number of users for a wide range of applications in India.

Has a track record of undertaking project management and providing turn-key solutions for analytical testing across Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Agri-food, Chemicals, and Academic research organisations.

Has a strong relationship with Industry leaders, Corporates, Research Institutes, Regulatory bodies, Government Agencies, and Innovators Initiated and successfully executed ambitious collaborative projects.
